August 16th, 2025: Kevin Garnett's HOOP IT UP 3x3 Basketball Tournament to be held at The Fieldhouse in Massapequa, NY. This iconic event is back on Long Island for the first time in nearly two decades. A Long Island basketball community event for all ages.
June-September: Indoor 3v3 basketball workouts are held at 7am on Sunday mornings in Massapequa, NY. Workouts are competitive and high energy in a proven low risk for injury environment. *2 hours per session, by invite/referral only.
November 5, 2023; We competed for the SHC Championship in honor of our brother Paul who was moving the next day to El Paso, TX to further his career. A solid morning of championship competition and a new home for the SHC Silver Plate!
December 31, 2022; The year presented challenges for the club however, we managed to compete for the coveted SHC Silver Plate. Unfortunately, we were unable to fundraise this year, but key members donated time and various resources to help those in need.
Summer: We use a combination of dynamic stretching, light weight training, burst sprints, mitt work, plyometrics and shadowboxing to increase mobility, strength & endurance. The 60-75 minute workout focuses on our constant effort to elevate the spirit and improve overall well-being.

* Hosted Saturday mornings at 6:30am on the sand
December 5th, 2021; Summer Health Club hosted The 2nd Annual SHC 3v3 Championship. This year, the club raised money and awareness for the brave children and families at St. Jude Children's Hospital.
*Our supporters helped to donate 15 brand new red wagons, which are used in place of wheelchairs for the smaller patients in treatment at St. Jude Hospital in Memphis , TN.

November 25, 2021; The Inaugural 2-Hand-Touch Turkey Bowl was played at 8am on Thanksgiving Day in Massapequa, NY. We collected food and other commonly used household items for Island Harvest, The Long Island Food Bank.
*October 24, 2020; The Inaugural SHC 3v3 Championship Game was held at Field of Dreams in Massapequa, NY. The club raised money for The William Randolph Hearst Burn Center at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
